                                                       Overview

BIJUTOX® 100 U is a high-purity injectable form of Clostridium botulinum toxin type A, developed to effectively reduce dynamic facial wrinkles and expression lines. Each batch undergoes strict potency testing (range: 87–125%) to ensure consistent efficacy and reliable clinical results.

Composition

Active Ingredient: Clostridium botulinum toxin type A (100 Units)
Excipients: Human serum albumin (0.5 mg), Sodium chloride (0.9 mg)

Appearance & Reconstitution

BIJUTOX® is supplied as a white to pale-yellow lyophilized powder in a clear vial. Reconstitute using sterile, preservative-free 0.9% sodium chloride as follows:

  • Draw up the required volume of saline.

  • Inject slowly into the vial to prevent foam formation.

  • Gently swirl until completely dissolved—do not shake.

  • Mark the vial with the date and time of reconstitution and use within 24 hours.

Indications
  • Moderate to severe glabellar (frown) lines

  • Forehead transverse lines

  • Crow’s feet

  • Marionette lines and platysmal bands

  • Mouth corner lifting and masseter reduction

  • Platysmal and trapezius muscle lines

Dosage & Administration

Administer intramuscularly using a 30 G needle. Injection sites and dosages should be adjusted based on the target area and individual patient needs, in accordance with established clinical injection protocols.

Efficacy

Visible results are typically observed within 3–7 days post-injection. Cosmetic benefits generally last for 7–9 months, with retreatment intervals customized according to muscle activity and patient preference.

Storage & Handling
  • Unopened vials: Store at 2–8°C, do not freeze.

  • Shelf life: 36 months from the date of manufacture.

  • Reconstituted solution: Keep refrigerated (2–8°C) and discard after 24 hours.

Safety & Precautions

For professional use only by qualified medical practitioners. Inspect the reconstituted solution to ensure it is clear and free of particulates before injection.
Common side effects include mild injection-site discomfort, bruising, or temporary muscle weakness.
Serious adverse reactions such as dysphagia or respiratory difficulty are rare but require immediate medical attention.
Maintain continuous cold-chain storage to preserve product potency and safety.
