TOXTA 100 Units is a Botulinum toxin type A product, commonly referred to as BOTOX, derived from Clostridium botulinum. It is supplied as a freeze-dried powder that requires reconstitution with saline before use. Injected into muscles, it temporarily inhibits contractions responsible for wrinkle formation. Effects typically appear within 4 to 5 days and last up to four months.

Preparation Before Injection:

• Remove TOXTA 100 U from refrigeration.

• Inspect the vial to ensure the powder is white and freeze-dried, contained in a clear, colorless vial.

• Reconstitute with sterile, preservative-free 0.9% sodium chloride solution, adding slowly to avoid denaturation.

• Dilute to a concentration of 100 U/2.5 ml (4 U/0.1 ml).

• Use the diluted solution within 24 hours; store any unused portion refrigerated at 2–8 °C.

Administration:

• Only certified medical professionals should administer TOXTA 100 U, with full knowledge of facial anatomy and previous surgeries.

• Follow recommended dosages and avoid treatments more frequent than every three months.

Precautions:

• Use only under a doctor’s prescription.

• Contraindicated in patients allergic to the ingredients, those with neuromuscular disorders, pregnant or breastfeeding women, and individuals under 16 years old.
